Summary of service
Support for sexual abuse & assault for children, youth and adults, child, youth and family hub to provide support for children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse/assault, supporting children who have experienced trauma and support for their parents. We also provide community education. We receive referrals from QPS, GP's, hospital and QLD health, schools, child safety, self-referrals and referrals from other community organisations. We provide support to children at the schools due to the child being unable to attend our premises due to transport or being in care.
Programs and initiatives
Bumblebees Program
We deliver the Bumblebees program delivering protective behaviours program one on one, in groups and delivering the Bumblebees program in childcare centres for children.
Tidda's Youth Wellbeing Program
Our First Nations counsellor delivers the Tidda's Youth Wellbeing Program in schools, this program is designed to discuss discuss topics such as personal hygiene, feelings, family, relationships, DV, consent, personal space, early warning signs, good and bad secrets and touch, mental health grounding techniques, cyber safety and wellbeing. This program is very successful with positive feedback from children who attend. This program is open to First Nations youth and non-Indigenous youth.
Journaling Group
We offer ajournaling group for women, which supports and promotes social inclusion.
Creative Freedoms
Creative Freedoms is a group targeted at young people aged 12 to 25; it is an art therapy based 8-week program to build resilience, social inclusion and mental health wellbeing. This program can be run on our premises or in schools.

Waiting space/safe space
Our reception area is spacious and welcoming and provides several seating areas to accommodate all clients. We also have supportive reception staff who will monitor clients in the wait room; if a client appears upset or dysregulated, we have a quiet room where they can sit and wait for their appointment if needed.
Accessibility
Our building has 2 entrances; the main entrance has 4 steps to access. The front entrance is for clients who have mobility issues as it has a ramp.
